First year head coach Kira Zeiter has recently announced the details surrounding her inaugural team and individual camps as the head of the Eastern New Mexico softball program.

Zeiter and her staff will host a team camp on Sept. 9 and an individual camp on Oct. 20. Her and her staff are also putting on an official visit weekend for potential 2019 recruits on the weekend of Sept. 14-16.

Those looking to attend the official visit weekend must have all paperwork that is included in the link above submitted by Sept. 10. Any individuals looking to participate in either the individual or team camps must fill out and submit a waiver form before they will be eligible to participate.

As for the team and individual camps, players wishing to attend can register at each event on site at the Eastern softball field upon arrival. The team camp is restricted to grades 9-through-12, while the individual camp is open to grades 9-through-12 for the morning session and grades K-through-8 for the afternoon session.

Prices for the team camp will be $60 per kid and $40 per kid for either the afternoon or morning session of the individual camp. Players are asked to please notify coach Zeiter if they will be attending any of the scheduled camps by email at kira.zeiter@enmu.edu. Payment can be made upon arrival on the day of the camp, but waiver forms may be turned in ahead of time by email.

Preliminary schedules for each camp will be as followed.

Team Camp- Sept. 9
9:00 a.m. – Pitchers and catchers only
10:00 a.m. – Defensive portion of camp
11:00 a.m. – Offensive portion of camp
Lunch on your own
1:00 p.m. – Scrimmage portion of camp
2:30 p.m. – Tour of ENMU campus
3:00 p.m. – End of camp

Individual Camp- Oct. 20

AM Session- Grades 9-through-12

8:00 a.m. – Pitchers and catchers only
9:00 a.m. – Defensive portion of camp
10:00 a.m. – Offensive portion of camp
11 a.m. – Scrimmage
12:00 p.m. – End of camp

PM Session – Grades K-through-8

1:00 p.m. – Camp begins with pitchers and catchers
2:00 p.m. – Defensive portion of camp
3:00 p.m. – Offensive portion of camp
4:00 p.m. – Baserunning/Sliding
5:00 p.m. – End of camp
