The Eastern New Mexico women’s soccer program recently announced two camps that will be hosted inside Greyhound Stadium throughout the summer.
The first camp held on July 22-24 will serve as a Team/Elite camp that will feature a two-night stay on the campus of Eastern New Mexico to give campers an insight on what being a collegiate athlete consists of. The other camp will be an I.D. Camp on Aug. 3-4 that is designed to assist head coach Joshua Smith and his staff with the identification and interaction between the program and potential student-athletes.
The I.D. camp in early August is open to athletes entering eighth grade through their senior year of high school, as well as junior college players seeking to continue their collegiate careers at a four-year school. Cost for the camp is $60 for athletes that sign up before June 15th, and $75 per camper that signs up past the June 15th deadline. Participants are required to bring cleats for grass or turf, indoor shoes in case of weather, and shin guards.
Water and athletic trainers will be on-site throughout the camp while lunch will not be provided, so campers will need to plan accordingly to provide their own lunch for the designated lunch time.
An optional 5-on-5 or 7-on-7 tournament will be conducted from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 3 following a 5 p.m. check in to kick off the activities open to campers for the weekend. Each participant will then get started with the schedule below following check-in at 9 a.m. on Aug. 4.
