Personally, it is with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye to a physician that I have known and highly respected for over 15 years. I admire him for being a Viet Nam vet and thank him for his time in service to this country. I will miss his sense of humor, steadfastness, and easy smile. That being said, I envy him the time to do all things that he’s tried to balance over the years while remaining a good old country doc.

Dr. Alexander came in and told me he was sure that my placenta was tearing and he needed to get the baby out right away. He was very kind to me in such a scary situation. With in the hour we had a beautiful baby girl and I was ok. He saved mine and my baby’s life. He took the time after to talk to me the next day and continuing days. I’m so very grateful that he was the Dr. On duty. –AL
My first two children were delivered by Dr. Alexander. For my first, I was the typical freaked out, unfocused, panicky mom that was trying to get all screamy and such. Dr. Alexander, in the same tone of voice he must use when having an everyday conversation, said, “Now, Katrina. We can do this in 1 push, or we can do this in 50 pushes, it’s up to you.” Two pushes later and she was out. –TW
We first saw him when his practice was in a tiny little “mall”. He would come out to the lobby and play with my daughter between stops in patient rooms. It was obvious to anybody that met him that he truly enjoys what he does, and I’m not sure there is anybody that loves babies more than he does. –SB
This man has been a Godsend to me. I was one of his first patients in May of 1986…he delivered all 3 of my kids, several of my grandkids, and I don’t know what I would have done without him after my hysterectomy. I had a lot of bad complications, and he put me right again. –LA
After a 25 hour labor Dr Alexander made all the right choices and I was able to deliver my healthy baby naturally. He spent hours with me after my delivery making sure my stitches were perfect so I would heal as well as I did. –EB

Dr Alexander is an amazing man! during my last ectopic pregnancy he took the time to save my last tube and possibly allow us to have another child he didn’t have to most doctor will just remove the tube completely but he understood how heart broken we were and took the steps to help us! i will forever be grateful for him. –EM
I remember smiling up at him when he came to check on me before I delivered and thanking him that he was there….he stayed the entire time monitoring me and my unborn baby and comforting my family. He took such great care before, during and after my delivery. He was and always will be one of my favorite doctors. –SH
We had a miscarriage last month and he was the doctor to confirm it. I appreciated how he sat and talked to me about it. He was also there for most of my three pregnancies with my girls. He has and always will be a fantastic doctor. –LF
I will never forget when he sent me home he asked “are you ready to blow this popsicle stand” – SP
He saved my daughters life with his quick decision for an emergency c-section. He knew she literally had seconds to be born. He got her out with in minutes of me walking through the hospital doors thinking I was going to just be sent home. –TH
Dr. Alexander saved my life when an ectopic pregnancy at 10 weeks gestation ruptured and caused massive internal bleeding. I will forever be grateful to him. –RL
