COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Eastern New Mexico women’s basketball team remains in the No. 5 spot in the Week 4 D2SIDA South Central Regional Poll.
The Greyhounds move to 6-1 overall following their most dominant win of the season, a 93-48 victory over Northern New Mexico last week. The Hounds have been included in all four of the weekly regional polls as well as the preseason poll released in October.
The top-10 rankings feature seven Lone Star Conference teams with Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M-Commerce and West Texas A&M claiming the first three spots.
The Hounds have completed their 2019-20 non-conference schedule with a perfect 6-0 record and will look to maintain their momentum as they begin the grind of their LSC schedule. Eastern tips off its road trip against St. Mary’s this Thursday before taking the court against regionally ranked St. Edward’s on Saturday as the Green and Silver look to claim their first conference victory.
