Wings Over Cannon Media Invite
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – Cannon Air Force Base is hosting Wings Over Cannon on April 22, 2023. It will be the first airshow at Cannon AFB since 2018.
The day prior to the airshow, Friday, April 21, we’ll be hosting an airshow rehearsal starting at 10:00 a.m. MST. At this time, media members are encouraged to get coverage of the rehearsal to include the airshow’s headliner, the Air Combat Command’s A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team’s practice session.
Following the rehearsal, media members will have the opportunity to interview representatives from the aerial demonstration teams, to include the A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team, the Air Boss, Mr. Greg Witmer, and the Airshow Director, Capt Jake Weiner.
Day of the airshow, Saturday, April 22, all media members wishing to attend Wings Over Cannon must be escorted by 27 SOW Public Affairs.
