The City’s Public Works Utility Superintendent has notified administration that there has been a third-party waterline break in the area of the Portales Junior High School and School Administration building. Public Works Water Division is working to isolate the line to minimize the number of services that could be effected. Currently the area that potentially could be effected is 6 blocks surrounding the break—
· from U.S. Hwy 70 to 9th Street,
· and Main Avenue to Elbe Street/
We hope to keep the number of services effected to the bare minimum. Please watch for workers and drive safely.
