$7,500,000 School Bond Election and Two Mill Levy Election February 7, 2017 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
All registered voters residing within the boundaries of the Portales Municipal School District are allowed to vote. You need not be a property owner or have students attending Portales Municipal School District.
Absentee voting will be conducted in Roosevelt County Clerk’s Office. Deadline for voting absentee in person is Friday, February 3, 2017 at 5:00 PM. Applications may be obtained from the Roosevelt County Clerk’s Office.
Feb. 7th, 2017 – voting will take place at The Memorial Building, 200 E. Seventh Street, Portales, NM
Listed below are projects which have been identified by the District (not in any particular order) • Renovate Consumer Science kitchen and classroom at PHS • Renovate ag building and equipment at PHS • Construct or renovate cafeteria at PJHS • Renovations at BECC, old wing • Roof replacements and repair • Activity bus • Playground equipment • Continued preventive maintenance and repair to all District buildings and property. • HVAC upgrades and replacements • School furniture, vocational equipment • Computer Hardware • Window Replacements
