Please be advised that you can vote in the upcoming City’s Election in one of the ways shown below:
- Early vote by coming to City Hall; ask for Election Staff – you can vote in-person this month through 2/26/2022.
- Come to City Hall, ask for Election Staff, Register to Vote if you aren’t already registered, and Cast your Early Vote the same day (will only take a few minutes longer).
- Call for an Absentee Ballot Application and Election Staff will mail you the application and then will mail you a ballot upon receipt of your application.
- Go online to the NM Secretary of State’s website and request an absentee ballot application. Website address is www.sos.state.nm.us/voting-and-elections/voter-information-portal/absentee-and-early-voting/
- Vote on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Election site, 200 E. 7th Street (the City’s Memorial Building located in City Park).
Please note that this election is called the MUNICIPAL OFFICERS ELECTION, which is set for March 1, 2022. Sample ballots are available in the lobby of the City Hall or by asking the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk.
The Roosevelt County Clerk handles all other elections (in June for the Primary election and in November for the General election). Exercise your election franchise.
