Gail was a 1987 graduate of Portales High School, and went on to attend the nursing program at Clovis Community College. Unfortunately, she was unable to complete the course due to health concerns. Beginning about 2012, Gail began working as a home health care-giver. After becoming ill, she had not been able to work for the past year. Gail enjoyed cooking, and especially making various baked goods, and decorating cakes. Crafts and crocheting occupied much of her time as well as riding motorcycles and playing video games. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her son, Jarek Ham of Portales; a daughter, Brianna Horning of Portales; her mother, Linda Vernon and her step-mother, Joan Martinez Terry both of Portales; her brothers, Joseph and Manuel Terry of Portales and Kevin Lafferty; and four sisters, Donna Muse Kelly and Charlotte Muse both of Missouri, Michelle Muse of Roswell, NM and Margaret (Jack) Campbell of Portales. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Terry who died in 2007.
