Victor Manuel Olivas-Valenzuela March 5, 1978 ~ November 5, 2024 (age 46)

Graveside services for Victor Olivas, 46, of Post, TX will be held at 2:00 PM, Tues., Nov. 12, 2024 in the Portales Cemetery.  Felix Olivas, Carlos Olivas, Ervey Valenzuela, Fernando Valenzuela, Javier Valenzuela, Felix Valenzuela, Sergio Valenzuela, Cesar Valenzuela, Aldo Valenzuela, and Ubaldo Valenzuela will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Victor Manuel Olivas-Valenzuela was born Mar. 5, 1978 in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico to the home of Dora Valenzuela and Manuel Olivas, and died Nov. 5, 2024 in Post, TX.  Mr. Olivas came to the United States in 2000, and began working on dairies in the Portales area.  In 2010, he moved to Post, TX where he began working in construction as a mason.  He was a musician, and enjoyed playing music on the accordion, the keyboard and guitar as well as sing along with his uncles band.

He is survived by his partner Teresa Gomez, three daughters, Jessica Alexandra Olivas and Jesenya Olivas both of Portales and Alexis Aranda; his mother, Dora Valenzuela of Portales; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Carlos and Consuelo Olivas of Portales; and two sisters, Ruby Olivas and Edith Olivas both of Cuauhtemoc, Mexico.  He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Olivas,  by a sister Dora Yvette Olivas, and by a son, Victor Olivas, Jr.
