And then there were six ……. Joe Blair, George Hay, Charles Robertson, Carl Richardson, Jim Warnica and Vern Witten the surviving WWll Veterans in Roosevelt County.

The program today at the Memorial Building was to honor the six that are left here in Roosevelt County.  It is hard to imagine a program that could even come close to doing justice to what these men have done for our country and keep doing still for our community, but todays program was very close.

We will publish more details from the program in the very near future however we wanted to say a very special Thank you to these great men and to Mike Wooley, American Legion Post 31 Randy Dunson Commander , Portales High School Choir for a very moving program today.
