Tigers Redeemed Their Season Opener Loss with a Win in Game 2

The Elida Tigers traveled to Carrizozo again, this time to face the home team. The game between the Tigers and the bears was on Thursday, August 26 with kickoff at 7 PM.

Last week in their season opener, Elida finished the game with a loss. No one wants to begin a season with a loss, so the Tigers came into the game against Carrizozo with a chip on their shoulders, ready to redeem themselves and that is exactly what they did! After 4 quarters, the Tigers finished on top with a dominating score of 39-6.

The Tigers are now 1-1 this season. Their next game is on Friday, Sept. 3 at 7 PM in Elida. The Tigers will host Gateway Christian out of Roswell. Be sure to show up and support Elida in their first home game!
