PORTALES, NM — Senior guard Lamarquis Thompson hit a go-ahead three-pointer for the Eastern New Mexico University men’s basketball team with just 13 seconds left in Saturday’s Lone Star Conference game. Cameron responded with a trey of its own just seven seconds later and handed the Greyhounds a 60-58 heartbreaker. IN his final contest at Greyhound Arena, Thompson poured in 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked two shots.
