We all enjoy the iconic pies that you expect to indulge in on Thanksgiving, but there is always that one family member who doesn’t like pumpkin or pecan pie. So, for the grump in the bunch, here is a dessert recipe that is sure to tantalize their taste buds!
Peach Dump Cake

Ingredients:
1 can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 can peach pie filling
1 butter pecan cake mix
2 sticks of butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9×13 glass dish lightly with cooking spray. Dump cans of peaches and pie filling into the dish, and using a paring knife, chop the peach slices into bite-sized chunks. Spread the peaches and filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Pour cake mix evenly over the filling mixture.
- Chop butter or margarine into tablespoon chunks, and drop on top of the dried cake mix. Make sure the chunks are placed evenly across the top.
- Sprinkle pecans evenly across the top
- Bake at 375 for 40-45 min. Cake mix should be cooked and browning on top.
- Serve warm with a dollop of whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
