Both Elida Girls and Boys traveled to Tatum to play a couple district basketball games on Tuesday, February 12. The ladies played first, and after trailing 22-15 at halftime, the Lady Tigers attempted a comeback in the 2nd half. Ultimately Elida girls couldn’t stop Tatum, and lost with a final score of 44-33. The Lady Tigers are now 11-7 this season, and 5-2 in district.
The boys game followed, and unfortunately they followed suit and also lost to Tatum. Their deficit was similar to that of the ladies, and they lost 57-48 at the end of a hard fought game. The Tigers are now 11-9 this season, and 3-4 in district.
