PORTALES, NM — The Lone Star Conference released its All-Conference Cross Country Team on Tuesday afternoon. For their performance in last weekend’s league championship meet, Mason Swansonand Omer Almog represented the Eastern New Mexico University teams, among the honorees.
The league honors the top 15 finishers in its championship meet with All-Lone Star Conference status.
Swanson turned in a season-best time of 23:47.69 to register a ninth-place finish at the championships. Almog took 15th in the men’s race, with a time of 27:26.53.
The Eastern New Mexico cross country teams will return to action on Saturday, November 4, for NCAA Division II South Central Regionals. The event will be hosted by West Texas A&M.
