State Champion Football Team Honored at Pep Rally

The Portales Rams football team finished their season with a total shutout against Bloomfield to win the State Championship in late November.

In honor of their successful season, Portales High has a pep rally to present the team with their championship trophy, and to add the year to the wall of champions in the gym.

The whole community has been extremely proud of the boys and the way they carried themselves all season. They showed grace through each win, and made a wonderful representation of Portales.

Coach Jamie Ramirez has proved to be a wonderful asset to the Portales High coaching staff, and has led the football team to win several district championships back to back, and winning records with a mere 3 or less losses each season.
