Portales Rams Lose to Lovington Wildcats in District Game
On Friday the Portales Rams played against the Lovington Wildcats in a rival district game. At halftime, the Rams played tough only trailing by 1 point at the half. But the Wildcats turned it up in the second half.
After only being up 38-37 the Wildcats outscored the Rams 39-17 in the second half. The Rams couldn’t keep up with the Wildcats offense, and it was tough for them to defend the fast paced Wildcats. The Rams lost the game with a final score of 77-54. It was a tough loss for the Rams as it is getting into the final stretch of the season.
Now, the Rams season record is 15 wins and 11 losses. Despite the loss, the Rams are determined to get back on track and do better in their upcoming game against the Goddard Rockets.
