On Saturday, the Elida Tigers Varsity basketball team faced the formidable 11-2 Cimarron Rams on the road. The Rams entered the game with an impressive 8-game winning streak, which continued as they defeated the Tigers with a final score of 90-60. The Tigers season record now stands at 7-10.
On Monday, the Portales Rams journeyed to Gallup to face the Bengals. In a surprising turn, the Rams encountered difficulties and were defeated by the Bengals, with a final score of 83-75. This loss brings the Rams season record to 11-7.
