The Roosevelt County Commission met in special business meeting on Thursday May 6, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Jake Lopez Community Center with those present being: Commissioner Rodney Savage, Commissioner Tina Dixon, Commissioner Dennis Lopez (by phone), County Manager Amber Hamilton, and County Clerk Mandi Park.

Commissioner Lee and Commissioner Grider were absent.

 

Call to Order – Commissioner Dixon called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m. with a roll call to acknowledge Commissioner Lopez’ attendance by phone.

 

Invocation – County Manager Hamilton

Pledge – Commissioner Dixon

 

Approval of Agenda:

A motion to approve the agenda was made by Commissioner Dixon with a second from Commissioner Savage.  Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes, Commissioner Lopez-Yes.

 

Approval of Minutes:

Motion to approve minutes of the April 27, 2021 regular meeting was made by Commissioner Lopez with a second from Commissioner Savage.  Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes, Commissioner Lopez-Yes.

 

New Business:

  1. Request for Approval of Hold Harmless Agreement with the Town of Elida for Removal of Sand: Commissioner Savage made a motion to approve the Request for Approval of Holed Harmless Agreement with the Town of Elida for the removal of sand with a second from Commissioner Dixon. Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes, Commissioner Lopez-Yes.
