–Jolene HaleThe summer weather is still with us, and hot temperatures can wreak havoc on our skin. Here are two quick ideas to keep your skin feeling and looking good:

  • To prevent that red rash after you shave, stand under warm water for a few minutes before you shave your legs or underarms in the shower. This will help open up hair follicles and will soften hairs so they’re less coarse to shave.
  • Immediately after stepping out of a shower or pool, apply cream or lotion to your skin. Water washes away the skin’s natural oils and applying lotion will prevent your skin from chapping.
