Obituary

Shirley Virginia Lee was born on July 19, 1935 and went to sleep in the Lord at the age of 85 on Christmas Evening, December 25, 2020.

Shirley was preceded in death by her two sons Steven Edward Owen Jr, David Wayne Owen and her sisters Betty Kate Fahsholtz, Tommy Joe Fahsholtz and Patsy Fahsholtz Liesse.

She is survived by her husband Norman Joe Lee, her daughters Patti Kennedy of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Kim Lantz of Hines, Minnesota, brother Sam Fahsholtz, Tennessee, and children Dale Lee, Wesley Lee, and July Lee, grandchildren Crystal Owen of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Greg Lewis of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nathan Lee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and many beloved nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Shirley was raised and spent most of her life in Portales, New Mexico where her children were raised and later moved to Blackduck, Minnesota

She was loved and adored by all. She was also an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and walked close to the Lord daily.

She spent many years and loved gardening, sewing, quilting and crocheting

The Kennedy family in Los Alamos, New Mexico hopes to host a memorial in Portales, New Mexico at a later date.
