Obituary
A mass of the resurrection for Senaida Tapia will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Helen Catholic Church with Fr. Francisco Carbajal officiating. Pallbearers will be Felisha Lucero, Jacob Lucero, Matthew Salazar, Stephanie Tapia, Mark Tapia, & Christina Tapia.
Senaida (Sady) G Tapia was born in Encino, NM on March 12, 1941 and went to Heaven on January 12, 2021 surrounded by the most loving and comforting nurses. She lived a beautiful life growing up with 10 siblings. She was married to Moises Tapia for 64 short years and they were blessed with two children, Jr and Ruth Ann. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
She was the hostest with the mostest at El Rancho Restaurant. She was everyone’s Aunt Sady or adopted grandma. She was accepting to all and never saw any flaws in anyone. She never knew a stranger and greeted everyone with open arms. She was always willing to listen and gave the best advice. She loved sitting and having a hot cup of fresh coffee with others and would never leave the house without starting her day with one. She was loved by many, and loved many. She was the best Natias maker in New Mexico. She was a woman of God and faithfully believed that she would be greeted at the doors of Heaven by the Lord and her beloved friends and family members. While the Golden Girls have lost a sister, she will be with them in spirit on their weekly lunch dates. She will be missed greatly, but we know she will be there welcoming us with open arms when we are one day reunited.
Survivors include her siblings, Josie(Sister), Lorenzo, Aurora, Andy, Dorothy, Author, Jane, Priscilla, Rudy, & Mabel, her grandkids, Felisha, Jacob, Matthew, Stephanie, Mark, & Christina, her great grandkids, Adeja, Tres, Jaelah, Cylas, Avaun, Aziah, Joselyn, Liliana, Andrew, Noah, Lacey, Marley, and Pixie, son in law, Fernie, and daughter in law, Nicole.
