The Roosevelt County Commission met in a special business meeting on Friday January 15, 2021 at 1:15 p.m. in the Jake Lopez Community Building with those present being: Commissioner Rodney Savage, Commissioner Lewis Shane Lee, Commissioner Tina Dixon, County Manager Amber Hamilton, Chief Deputy Clerk Nath Baca, County Treasurer Layle Sanchez, Commissioners Paul Grider and Dennis Lopez were absent.

 

Call to Order – Commissioner Dixon at 1:15 p.m.

Invocation – County Manager Hamilton

Pledge – Commissioner Dixon

 

Approval of Agenda:

Motion to approve agenda was made by Commissioner Lee with a second from Commissioner Dixon.  Commissioner Lee-Yes, Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes.

 

Approval of Minutes:

Motion to approve minutes of the January 12, 2021 regular meeting was made by Commissioner Lee with a second from Commissioner Dixon. Commissioner Lee-Yes, Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes.

 

Contracts – Agreements – Procurements:

  1. Request for Approval of 2022 EMS Fund Act Application for Arch Volunteer Fire Department: A motion to approve the request for approval of the 2022 EMS Fund Act Application submitted by the Arch Volunteer Fire Department was made by Commissioner Dixon with a second by Commissioner Lee.  Commissioner Lee-Yes, Commissioner Dixon-Yes, Commissioner Savage-Yes.
