The Nov. 3, 2020 General Election is quickly approaching and the Clerk’s Office would like to clarify some of the processes and dates. There havebeen several entities sending out absentee applications and voter registration forms. Roosevelt County residents may receive more than one application or form due to numerous nonprofits mailing this material. These forms distributed are valid and can be utilized by voters. The County Clerk’s office tracks this data to ensure each person gets only one ballot regardless of the number of requests submitted.

“The Roosevelt County Clerk’s Office will only sending these documents out when requested by the voter,” clarified Deputy County Clerk Nath Baca. “You only need to submit one form to the County Clerk’s Office. However, if you have sent multiple voter registration forms or absentee application forms, you will only receive one ballot.”

Any registered voter can complete the an application for an absentee ballot or can call the Roosevelt County Clerk’s Office and request an absentee ballot application by mail.
