The Elida Tigers faced Dora in a a Roosevelt County district baseball double-header.
Dora had a slow start in the first game, but scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning, springing them ahead of Elida by 3. The Coyotes managed to hold the Tigers to only scoring in the 6th inning, leaving them with a deficit at the start of the 7th, and Dora came away with the win. The final score was 7-4.
Elida made a comeback in the second game of the double-header though. They held Dora to 2 runs in the first, and only 1 other run the rest of the game. The final score was 6-3 in Elida’s favor.
Dora Baseball is now 2-1 and Elida is 2-2.
