Will Banister and the Modern Day Ramblers
Will Banister first gained attention when his Turned Her On To Country album gathered a rave review in the consumer monthly Country Music People.
Next, his song Turned Her On To Country enjoyed a four week stay at number one in the UK’s weekly Hot Disc charts, ensuring the singer a radio audience way beyond British shores. The Wembley visitor not only proved a winner with the country audience but also gained attention of the national media, with the Daily Telegraph’s Douglas McPherson concluding his Wembley review: “The most memorable moment [of the festival] found 23 year old Will Banister wowing the crowd with a sublimely straightforward Lovesick Blues. Sixty-three years after Hank Williams sang the same song, it was proof that country, like rock ‘n’ roll, will never die.”
Will Banister now follows in the footsteps of Dolly Parton, Don Williams and Boxcar Willie, all of whom launched their successful British careers after similar rapturous festival debuts.
You can catch his performance on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 8:00 PM. If you’d like more information, click here.
Randall King Band
Recognized by Garth Brooks as the new face of Country Music. “This kid is what country music is all about to me…the newcomer was most likely destined for greatness.”
Humble beginnings, a cultivated work ethic and the influences of classic country legends, synchronized together in perfect harmony, make up singer-songwriter from the West Texas Plains, Randall King.
Growing up a fourth generation hay-hauler, many of King’s songs are written and inspired by his deep southern heritage and family roots.
King was raised listening to the rich and soulful, classic country voices of Keith Whitley, George Strait and Alan Jackson, to name a few, which helped create King’s musical style into what many have described as neo-traditional country. “Randall King remains to the heart and soul of country music, but no doubt brings his own unique brand to the genre,” says hit songwriter Mark Nesler (co-writer of “Just To See You Smile” by Tim McGraw, “You Look Good In My Shirt” by Keith Urban).
With a sound rooted in tradition and songwriting that showcases honesty, conviction and authenticity, King connects with fans on all emotional levels. “Randall King has a great voice that sounds classic, yet is fresh and as a songwriter he actually has something to say – be it something that touches your heart or something simple and fun that makes you wanna get out and raise some hell.” said multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Anthony Smith (co-writer of “Run” & “Cowboys Like Us” by George Strait).
Unlike the west Texas wind, King is a grounded and talented singer-songwriter who is sure to stay. “There’s a lot of people that want country music to come back around, and there’s a lot of people that will say you have to sell out and play radio hits to make it. I think for me I want to make my stamp as an artist with this record, that I can be me and still make an impact across the country.
Randall King will be performing for your entertainment on Friday, Aug. 24 at 8:00 PM. If you’d like to visit his Facebook, click here.

Micky & the Motorcars
Led by frontman Micky Braun and his brother, guitarist Gary Braun, and initially featuring childhood friends Travis Hardy on drums and Mark McCoy on bass, Micky & the Motorcars rolled out of the Sawtooth Mountains of Stanley, Idaho in a cloud of Americana dust. The sons of veteran Western swing musician Muzzie Braun, Micky and Gary, along with older brothers Cody and Willy, spent their childhood as part of Muzzie Braun & the Little Braun Brothers band, and were stage veterans before their teens. Eventually Cody and Willy Braun left the band to form Reckless Kelly, with Micky and Gary soon following suit, moving to Austin, Texas with Hardy and McCoy as Micky & the Motorcars. Once in Texas they added Joseph Deeb on lead guitar, rounding out the group’s lineup. Developing a straight-ahead style of alternative country-rock, the band released an independent album, Which Way from Here, in 2002, following it with Ain’t in It for the Money on the Smith Music Group label in 2004. Hardy had left the band by that point, being replaced by Shane Vannerson, the first of several occasional shakeups to the Motorcars’ lineup.
Micky & the Motorcars signed to Smith in 2007, releasing Careless that year. The next year, Naive became their first album to chart on Billboard, and it also featured guitarist Kris Farrow, who stayed with the band through 2011; he was replaced by Dustin Schaefer. That year, the group put out Raise My Glass, which debuted at 36 on Billboard’s country chart. McCoy left the band after its release — his replacement was Joe Fladger — and tragically died in a rafting accident in April 2012. Vannerson left the band in 2013 and was replaced by Bobby Paugh, and this lineup recorded 2014’s Hearts from Above, which debuted at 17 on Billboard’s country chart.
Micky & the Motorcars will be performing Saturday Night at 9:00 PM in the Events Arena! Here is their Facebook page.
