STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Eastern New Mexico University rodeo team had a strong showing at the Tarleton State rodeo this past weekend.  The girls claimed the overall team trophy at the event and finished second in the Southwest region to earn a berth in the College National Finals in June.

Tierra Gray won the breakaway roping event for the year.  At TSU, Celie Vick won the first and short go as well as the average in the event.  Gray split first and second in the first go, was fourth in the short go and second in the average.  Saige Bell was second in the short go and split fourth and fifth in the average.
