Clovis, NM – Ninth Judicial District Attorney, Quentin Ray, announced that on February 23, 2023, Robert Najar, age 42, of Clovis, was sentenced to eighteen months in the Department of Corrections after a jury had previously found him guilty earlier this month of Possession of a stolen vehicle.
The Honorable Drew. D. Tatum presided over the sentencing and found Najar to be habitual offender adding an additional 4 years to his sentence for a total term of five and one half (5 ½) years in the Department of Corrections.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Trial Attorney, Leah Hutchins, and Najar was represented by Criminal Defense Attorney, Sandy Gallagher of Clovis.
