The Roosevelt County Road Department will begin work on South Roosevelt Road P, from SRR 10 to SRR 11 the week of July 8, 2024. Personnel will also begin work on SRR 11 for one-half mile west from NM 206. This work is expected to be completed by Aug. 23, 2024, weather permitting. These roadway project is being enhanced from dirt to caliche as per the County`s 5-year Road Improvement Plan and as part of the 2024 Local Government Road Fund appropriations.
The Roosevelt County Road Department will begin applying microseal to the intersection area of Industrial and South Roosevelt Road 6, beginning July 8, 2024. This work is expected to be completed by July 12, 2024, weather permitting and is being completed in partnership with MyMar Trucking and the City of Portales. The contractors will then move to South Roosevelt Road P, from US 70 to South Roosevelt Road 4 to apply the microseal product.
