ALBUQUERQUE, NM — With late results in from Friday, the Eastern New Mexico University indoor track & field teams registered 15 top-25 finishes on the first day of the Don Kirby Invitational at University of New Mexico. Among the top performers, Ivar Moinat, Adilene Adame and Danee Bustos shattered team records.
Moinat won the 600m dash with a Greyhound record time of 1:20.81. He finished .13 ahead of UC-Riverside’s Ethan Van Setten
Bustos eclipsed team marks in both the high jump and 200m dash. She registered a time of 25.05 in the sprint and a jump of 1.63m (21st place).
Adame placed 22nd in the weight throw. Her toss of 16.06m broke her own ENMU record.
The Eastern New Mexico University track & field teams will continue competition at the Don Kirby Invitational on Saturday.
