August is halfway over, and there are plenty of things going on to keep everyone busy as we close out the Back to School month!

Here’s what’s happening over the next 15 days in Portales:

Aug 19 – Portales Farmers Market, 5pm, every Monday & Thursday

Aug 20 – Portales City Sports Fall Volleyball Registration ends

Aug 20 – ENMU Fall Semester begins

Aug 26 – ENMU Fall Job Fair, 11am – 1:30pm, CUB Sandia Room

Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is hosting a student job fair for part time jobs in the Portales and Clovis communities.

The student job fair is an excellent opportunity to find qualified, enthusiastic part time employees. This is a great way to reach lots of potential employees in just a couple of hours. Businesses are encouraged to participate if you need to fill part time positions or internship opportunities (either paid or unpaid).

There is NO COST for businesses to participate, just send an email to Nikie.Bonner@enmu.edu to reserve your table or call ENMU at 575.562.2211.

There is also an online job board that students visit frequently. Please feel free to email your job description to career.services@enmu.edu and they’ll post the announcement and refer students directly to you.
