Rams Trip to Lovington Ends in Tough Loss

The Portales Rams have faced 4 teams previously this spring season, after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Only half the opponents were on the schedule for the season, and the Lovington Wildcats were the final of the 4 teams that the Rams had to face.

The game against Lovington was on Friday, March 26th at 7 pm in Lovington on their unique, blue turf under the Friday Night Lights.

Going into the game, Portales was 3-0 this season. Lovington proved to be a tough opponent for the Rams though, and ultimately handed Portales their first loss.

The final score was 36-20 with Lovington taking the win. The Rams are now 3-1 and they’ve completed their short spring schedule.
