Congratulations to the the Portales Girls Golf Team! Tournament play in Lovington resulted with the first place trophy going to Portales Ram Janae Hale as she finished the day with a 76. The team finished in third place overall. We were five strokes short of getting our second leg of the season.
Janae Hale shot her best score in tournament play today. She committed to each shot and at the end of the day she brought home the first place title. I saw great improvements and better scores in each of the girls golf game today. Proud of these young ladies!
We will be traveling to Spring River Classic in Roswell on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
