SOCCER
Moriarty put the first score on the board Tuesday but that was also their last score as the Rams took over and ended the game in a 6-1 District win. However, that was not the case on Thursday when Goddard came to town ending the Rams 12 game winning streak defeating the Rams 7-1. The Lady Rams ended the week with three losses: Tuesday Moriarty 7-0, Thursday Roswell Goddard 6-1 and Saturday Lovington 3-0. Mark your calendars for this week in soccer:

VOLLEYBALL
The Peyton Chavez Volleyball Tournament was held in Portales this weekend. Friday began pool play with the Lady Rams winning the top seed for Saturday’s bracket and Texico coming in second. The Lady Rams and Texico Lady Wolverines would end play on Saturday competing for 3rd and 4th in the tournament with the Lady Rams squeaking out a win in the 5th match for third place. FOOTBALL
After a 247 mile bus ride to Espanola the Rams played only a few minutes into the third quarter before ending the game with a mercy rule 52-0 victory and getting back on the bus for the 247 mile trip home. Mark your calendar for this week football:
