Portales Valley Festival 2019
Get ready for the 46th Annual Peanut Valley Craft and Music Festival Oct. 19-20 at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds in Portales. The festival features over 100 booths including arts, crafts, gifts, food and information. There will be a health fair on Saturday and plenty of activities for the kids both days including live Medieval re-enactors the Peanut Olympics and more. Live entertainment will feature Higher Ground Bluegrass of Albuquerque, Michael Thompson and the Last Minute, Andy Mason, ballet folkorico, Fusion World Dancers and many others. While you’re in Portales visiting the Peanut Festival plan on taking in the Eastern New Mexico wine festival, Queso Blanco, at Eastern New Mexico University.
