The Goddard Rockets traveled to Portales to face the Rams and Lady Rams on Tuesday evening. The ladies played first, and Portales finalized the game with a massive win. The final score was 72-43 over Goddard. The Lady Rams added a much needed win to their record, and are now 500 on the season at 10-10. Goddard’s record was more promising for the win, so the success of the Lady Rams was notable!
The boys played following the girls game, and the Rams has less success against the challenging Goddard players. The Rockers held the lead over Portales the majority of the game, and eventually defeated the Rams by 3. The final score was 45-42, adding a loss to Portales’ season record. The Rams are now 12-8 this season as they prepare for district matches soon.
