The Portales Rams boys and girls hosted Lovington in a district matchup on Friday, February 22. Both Rams teams were able to come out on top.
The girls game ended in a fairly close score. The Lady Rams were on top of the Wildcats with a score of 45-40 at the end of the game. The win moved the Lady Rams to 14-11 this season and 5-1 in district.
The boys played after and won by a 11. The final score was 46-35 in the Rams’ favor. They are now 15-10 this season and 3-3 in district.
