Game: Friday, November 2 at 7pm in Lovington

The Portales Rams traveled to Lovington for a district matchup on Friday night. The game closed out the Rams’ regular season with a big win. Portales held Lovington to a shutout for the first 3 quarters, but Lovington finally scored in the 4th. The final score of the game was 48-6 in Portales’ favor.

The win closes the regular season for Portales with a record of 7-3 as they go into the state playoffs as the first seed in district 4A.

The state selection committee meets on Sunday to determine seeding for the state playoffs, and we will update as we find out who Portales faces in the first game, and where it will be located.
