The Portales Rotary Club (Portales, New Mexico, USA) hosted our first virtual meeting today. Thirteen members connected via Zoom for the first time since early March.
It was great to talk about serving the community with (1) Meals on Wheels deliveries this month, (2) awarding eleven $500 scholarships to area high school students, (3) selecting two 8th graders that won the Four Way Test Essay contest and (4) hopefully, the summer water project in the Dominican Republic.
