Game: Semi-final of N.M. 4A Playoffs, Saturday, November 24 at 1 pm at Greyhound Stadium
The Portales Rams, who went into playoffs at No. 2 in N.M. Class 4A, hosted Taos in the semi-finals. The Rams’ season ended as the game came to a close with a 35-14. Taos took the win, leaving Portales behind as they move forward to face Bloomfield in the State Championship game for Class 4A.
The Rams completed the season 8-4 with most of their losses happening only at the beginning of their season. With a top 2 finish for the regular season, Portales can end on a high note, being ranked well going into next season.
