Press Release from Portales Police Department
On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, arrest warrants were obtained in connection with the April 7th shooting death of Adam Holt’s (35) in Portales. The investigation is still ongoing however; the following arrest warrants were obtained:
Korbin Baldridge (19) 1st Degree Murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, tampering with evidence & felon in possession of a firearm.
Manuel Silva (23) 1st Degree Murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, tampering with evidence & felon in possession of a firearm.
Morgan Carmichael (21) Conspiracy to commit armed robbery, harboring a felon, accessory to armed robbery, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Fabian Duran (32) conspiracy to commit armed robbery
Morgan Carmichael was taken into custody at 1 pm in Portales on April 16 and booked into the Roosevelt County Detention Center. Korbin Baldridge and Manuel Silva will be served with their warrants at their respective detention facilities. Fabian Duran is not currently in custody. Local law enforcement will attempt to locate and serve Duran’s warrant on him.
This case will go before a Grand Jury in Roosevelt County on April 26th.
