This morning, Portales High School (PHS) athletes and their coaches dropped by to give thanks to Roosevelt General hospital employees.
Coach Nate Chavez stated, “We have been thinking so much about all you have been doing, especially thru this rough time, and we just want to say how much we appreciate you.” Both coaches told the hospital administrator that they often talk to their students about the work the hospital and medical staff is doing all in an effort to help out the community.
Coach Ruth Chavez closed by saying, “It’s such an honor to present this to the hospital as a small appreciation for all the effort that is being put into keeping the community safe.”
