The Lady Rams faced Clovis at Rock Staubus Gymnasium in Clovis on Saturday, with tip off at 6 PM.
The game was close from the first period. Clovis was only ahead after the first 8 min. by 2 points. Portales came back and took the lead in the 2nd, and the teams went into halftime with the Lady Rams ahead 24-21.
Clovis rallied in the 3rd, and got a larger lead over the Lady Rams. And the in the final 8 minutes, the two teams fought hard enough to tie the game. It went into overtime, and unfortunately for the Lady Rams, Clovis came out on top. The final score was 55-53.
Portales is now 13-5 this season.
