The Portales Rams took a tough loss against Goddard in their non-district game on Friday night. The Rams traveled to Roswell to compete with the Rockets, who were ranked 6th in Class 5A and 1st in their district going into the matchup. The final score was 28-0 in Goddard’s favor. The loss puts Portales at a 2-2 record for the season, but trailing closely behind Taos and Bloomfield, the Rams are currently ranked 3rd in NM Class 4A.
