Portales hosted Roswell High on April 2 for a Double Header this season. The outcome was mixed results for the Rams. The first game ended in a loss for Portales. The Rams were held to only 3 runs and Roswell scored 11, leaving Portales with a loss heading into the 2nd game.
The second game ended with a much different outcome for Portales. The Rams scored 12 runs, and held Roswell to just 8. The mixed results set Portales up with in a season record of 6-6.
