Portales Lady Rams hosted the Portales Peyton Chavez Tournament on September 28, and dominated both their matches. The Lady Rams faced Santa Rose first, and won 3-0 over the Lions. Each set was won by 9 points or more, making easy wins for the Lady Rams.
Their second game was against Texico, and in the same fashion as before, Portales dominated. They played 3 sets against the Lady Wolverines, and defeated them in each one. The score was 3-0.
The two wins at the tournament made Portales 10-1 this season!
