Portales Destroys Dexter in Homecoming Game

Game: Friday, October 12 at 7pm at Greyhound Stadium

Portales hosted Dexter on Friday night as their homecoming matchup. The Rams held Dexter to a 13-0 score at halftime. When the teams returned for the second half, Dexter managed to score 7, which was quickly met with 14 more points by the Rams in the 3rd. Then, in the 4th quarter of the homecoming game, Portales was able to add 20 more points to their already dominant score. The final score was 47-7 in Portales’ favor. It was a morale boosting win for the Rams, who now have a 4-3 record overall on the season. Portales went into the game ranked 3rd in NM Class 4A.
