The Portales Rams traveled to Texico on April 8, 2021 for a game with a tip-off time of 7 PM.
The Rams dominated the first half, tripling the Wolverines‘ 1st period score. By half, Portales was ahead 35-24. T
he 11-point lead proved to be beneficial in the 2nd half for the Rams, who held Texico to a tie score in the 3rd, and were outscored them by them in the 4th.
Portales did come out on top, thanks to a powerful first half, with a final score of 62-55. The Rams are now 1-1 this season.
Portales faces the Wildcats in Clovis on April 10 at 3:30 PM.
