We usually feature a Pet of The Week however the shelter is FULL to the brim with puppies, dogs, cats and kittens all needing a home! So this week our animal glamour photographer (Micah Thompson) took pictures of as many as she could in order to get the word out. If you are looking for a pet, please check our local shelter first. If you already have a pet, please SPAY or NEUTER your pet!
This adorable group of puppies is all softness with their hound dog ears and sweet faces. Any one of these would make a great pet for a family.
This next group of puppies look to be mixed Lab with one very pretty chocolate in the mix. Each of them is ready to go have a family of their own.
This next guy is tall, dark and handsome! Adult male Great Dane! Already house broke, walks on leash, sits on command and is all about the love! The only catch here is he needs to be in a one pet household as he is not good with other dogs. If you are looking for a monogamous relationship – this is your guy!
This small girl is very polite and quiet. She looks like a little Fox. Please consider Foxy Girl if you are looking for a pet. She would love to be a part of your family.
This next face may look familiar to many of you as her picture was shown on Facebook last week with a LOT of porcupine quills in her face. The quills have been removed and she has been treated. She is very well mannered and attentive to surroundings. She has already had a pretty rough time – lets show this girl some love and get her a home!
This next little Blue Heeler female puppy has all the cutes going for her. Ready for a new home herding cattle or kids! Stop by the shelter and take a look at all the puppies that are needing homes.
Last but not least – There are lots of cats and kittens that are needing homes. If you are needing barn cats, there are several feral cats that can be given away (no charge) to homes outside the city limits. – These dudes look like they would be excellent mousers!
There are a couple of litters of kittens looking for a home –
